Wickes has dropped prices on more than 1,000 trade products as a result of a £7.4m investment aimed at benefitting small UK tradesmen.
Wickes in biggest ever Red Pencil price drop
The Red Pencil price drop is part of an ongoing marketing strategy which the retailer is running until early January. It will see the most commonly-used products in a tradesman's toolbox priced lower or equivalent to its competitors, according to Wickes.

Brand director Tony Holdway said: "The average tradesman is still facing a challenging business climate, and we are committed to helping them stay as competitive as possible. Keeping prices on trade essential ranges low means that even for the most basic jobs, the trade can keep their costs down."
