Totally shows see positive signs

Published: 4 August 2009
Show director Paul Grinsell believes 'optimism is returning' in the DIY and security sectors.
Mr Grinsell said that interest in the new timing and venue of the Totally shows in 2010 has been extremely positive and that "optimism is returning" to the sectors that the shows cover.

It was announced in January that Totally Tools, Totally DIY and Totally Secure would move from its venue in Earls Court, London to the NEC in Birmingham to co-locate with Spring Fair.

The move has meant that Barrettine Products, Chain Products, Stax Trade Centres, Select Hardware and S&S Home Supplies have all returned as exhibitors after a break from the show.

Akzo Nobel's brands Dulux, Polycell, Cuprinol, Hammerite and International have also confirmed their involvement with the show, while in Totally Secure, Yale, Davenport-Burgess and Sentry Safes have booked for the 2010 show.
