Toolbank launches biggest TV campaign yet to support Christmas promotion

Published: 12 July 2012
Tool wholesaler builds on the success of last year's Real Deals campaign with more exclusive offers and products and investment in TV, with ads hitting the screens on Sky Sports and Setanta in November and December.
The Christmas Real Deals promotion will also be supported by national press advertising in publications, including The Telegraph and Daily Star, as well as specialist titles,

The promotion, which has been circulated to retailers over the past fortnight, includes significant investment by Toolbank in digital marketing support, including an animated turning page' version of the consumer leaflet, which can even be emailed out to customers.

The wholesaler and distributor is keen to build on last year's promotion, which it described as its "most successful ever" and, based on feedback from its customers, plans to include options to help retailers with their own local marketing activity.

For those who are participating, there is even the chance to take part in an in-store display competition to win an Apple iPad, LED TV or laptop. The entries are judged by a panel from the BHF, DIY Week, Builders Merchants Journal and NMBS.
