More than 200 retailers and merchants recently flocked to the Great Southern Show at Newbury Racecourse hosted by Toolbank.
The one-day show run by Toolbank Southampton on Thursday 17 March opened its doors to up to 400 delegates and over 200 retailers and builders' merchants from across the South and West region. Held at the prestigious Newbury Racecourse, the show hosted over 100 exhibitors for leading brands to showcase the latest innovation in hardware and tool technologies.

It was also a great opportunity to offer visitors the latest promotional offers, one day only deals and add new products to their ranges. Toolbank supply hand and power tools and hardware products to thousands of merchants and retailers throughout UK and Ireland on behalf of over 280 brands such as Stanley, Black & Decker, Irwin, Hozelock, Bahco and Loctite. With 13 branches and more than 900 employees, Toolbank was recently listed in the The Sunday Times Grant Thornton top track 250.

Great Southern Show Organiser and Toolbank Southampton operations manager Anna Biney confirmed the continued growth of the event: "The exhibition was a great opportunity for the UK's leading brands to showcase some of the best tools and equipment.

"The flexible space of the Grandstand Conference Suite at Newbury Racecourse was the ideal venue for attendees to see new products and the latest promotional offers. The trade show this year saw a significant increase attracting retailers from across three branches, allowing manufacturers to display the latest stands to create a vibrant exhibition atmosphere.

"At Toolbank, we employ a range of marketing techniques to communicate with our stakeholders, however there is no substitute for meeting people face-to-face and the feedback from our events demonstrate that this is exactly what our suppliers and customers want."

As part of the trade show, team organisers at Toolbank were accommodated on-site at the Racecourse's new hotel, The Lodge, before and after the event.
