TTA gala dinner raises £14,000 for Children Today Charitable Trust - its nominated charity of the year.
Held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel on April 25, The Tile Association Awards, raised an impressive £14,000 for its nominated charity of the year, Children Today.

During the gala dinner a collection was taken where TTA members donated cash to the collection on the night and several companies pledged larger sums.

The total collection amounted to £9562.55 but the TTA received a number of additional pledges, bringing the total to £14,000.

After the collection, the TTA asked every member company to raise £10 a month to "put a smile on 100 children's faces" and encouraged companies to hold regular fundraising events.

The Children Today Charitable Trust was founded in 1994 and has helped more than 3,500 sick and disabled children and young people achieve their potential by increasing their independence and improving the quality of life for both themselves and their families.

In the last year alone, equipment worth over £250,000 has been provided for 225 young people from all over the UK.
