The Range has named Friday, September 12 as the date for the opening of yet another superstore, this time in Eccles.
The new outlet will create around 100 part-time and full-time jobs and will offer more than 65,000 low-price products across 16 departments, including DIY, homewares, furniture and arts & crafts.

Located on West One Retail Park, it will occupy over 40,000sq ft and include a café and external garden centre.

Opening day will see exclusive store opening offers along with entertainment, such as competitions, giveaways and the Captain Range mascot, who will be entertaining children and handing out balloons.

The Range owner, entrepreneur Chris Dawson, commented: "We're confident that the new store will create plenty of new jobs and hopefully become an integral part of the community. I would like to thank the council for welcoming us and being so supportive."

The Range is aiming to have some 100 stores by the end of the year.
