Liverpool independent Taskers to star in new Channel 4 series Running The Shop, presented by Dragons' Den star Hilary Devey.
The show sees Ms Devey persuade bosses to leave their business for three weeks to let their staff run the shop. The first episode in the new series features successful independent Taskers in Aintree, with John Tasker stepping down as boss of the family-owned DIY store and giving employees £30,000 of his own money to invest in the business. Not left entirely to their own devices, staff are mentored by Ms Devey during the period.

Viewers will watch as Mr Tasker returns after three weeks to find out what they've been up to and decide whether their initiatives will stay or go.

The episode will air on Tuesday, June 8 on Channel 4.
