Surprise selfies with Dickie Mackay

Added: 3 September 2014

As reported recently on and in DIY Week, Dickie has become Mackays' very own celebrity. Standing by the door, he not only helps promote the shop's products and special offers but has also proved a big draw for the crowds.

He even helped get the Mackays name out and about by 'jumping on his bike' when the Tour de France came to Cambridge, and was filmed 'cycling' around the city.

Locals love having their photo taken with him too, for instance, when he was dressed up in a Cambridge United football club strip. But a more recent invitation to 'Take a selfie with world famous Dickie Mackay' turned out to be something else altogether.
