Strikeback Launches Rubbish Product

Published: 7 January 2008
With many local authorities now collecting household waste on a fortnightly basis, the nation's wheelie bins are increasingly becoming health hazards due to the uncollected refuse attracting attention from flies, maggots and wasps.
Strikeback Launches Rubbish Product
As alternate weekly collections look set to stay, Preston-based group55 have come up with the answer in the form of their new rubbish product - Strikeback Wheelie Bin Fly Killer!

Strikeback Wheelie Bin Fly Killer is the first product of its kind, developed to offer long lasting fly control in and around wheelie bins and bin bags.

Supplied in a 400ml aerosol, the instant knock-down, long lasting insecticide has a formula that not only kills flies, maggots and wasps but also repels them, providing protection between rubbish collections and reducing the likelihood of refuse being used as a breeding ground.

Using the product is easy; you simply spray the wheelie bin and exposed surfaces of the bin bag to enjoy long lasting protection from flying insects and their larvae.

Group55's National Sales Manager Martin Breen commented:

"Feedback from previews of Strikeback Wheelie Bin Fly Killer to some of our select accounts has been very encouraging, and we have great hopes for this groundbreaking new product in 2008.

Alternate weekly refuse collection is a highly topical and emotive subject for consumers, but with Strikeback Wheelie Bin Fly Killer we are able to provide a very real solution to this very real problem.

We've never been so excited and confident about launching a rubbish product!
"

Strikeback will be exhibited at the DIY & Garden Show at Earls Court 2 London, Stand B60 where you can also find Martin Breen available for further comment throughout the show.
