Special rate for small businesses at HTA conference
"It's been a tough year for the horticultural sector," said HTA director of business development Tim Briercliffe, "and thanks to the sponsorship support for this year's event we're delighted to be able to offer a special rate for smaller businesses."

The HTA says its Garden Futures conference, which takes place on October 10 at One Great George Street, London, is the leading forum for businesses operating in the garden retail supply chain.

Mr Briercliffe went on: "This year's event is packed with content to help HTA members survive, adapt and grow in these tough economic conditions. The conference will be useful to large businesses within the sector but this year, in particular, it will be of equal value for smaller nurseries and retailers."

Session topics include peat and water use, how to develop sustainable independent businesses, using social media and novel ideas for marketing plants.
