Shoots and Isaac Lord double award winners

Shoots (UK) and Isaac Lord were double gold winners at last night’s Britain’s Best Retailer Awards 2007 in Manchester.

The duo both scooped Gold Awards at the event, organised by DIY Week, diyweek.net, Hardware & Garden Review, Housewares Magazine and housewaresLive.net, at the stunning Hilton Hotel, Manchester Deansgate.

Isaac Lord won Britain's Best Retail Training and Britain's Best Tool Retailer, while Shoots (UK) were Britain's Best Retail Marketing and Britain's Best New Retail Business winners.

Over 300 of the industry's top names were at the event to see the two companies pick up their honours from comedian, Bob Mills.

Bents Garden & Home - winners of the Best Garden Centre in the UK in 2006 - was voted Britain's Best Garden Retailer.

Britain's Best Retail Training:

Gold – Isaac Lord;
Silver – Garden & Leisure Group.

Britain's Best Retail Marketing:

Gold – Shoots (UK);
Silver – Colanders, Craft Central, Grosvenor Garden Centre.

Britain's Best New Retail Business:

Gold – Shoots (UK);
Silver – D&G Hardware, Artisan Cookshop.

Britain's Best Multiple Housewares Retailer:

Gold – Lakeland;
Silver - John Lewis Partnership, Steamer Trading Cookshop.

Britain's Best Cookshop:

Gold – Artisan Cookshop, Countryside Cookware;
Silver – Marchant's Cookware Emporium, Kitchen Kapers, Salamander.

Britain's Best Hardware Retailer:

Gold – Ray Grahams;
Silver - Headcorn Hardware, D&G Hardware.

Britain's Best Tool Retailer:

Gold – Isaac Lord;
Silver – AllTools, The Tool Shop.

Britain's Best DIY Superstore Manager:

Gold - Alan McCourt (Homebase);
Silver – Adrian Page (Homebase), Mark Sharratt (B&Q), Michael McLaughlin (Homebase), Paul Urquart (Focus DIY).

Britain's Best Decor Retailer:

Gold – Home Decor Centre;
Silver – Double D Decor Centre, Decoron Wallpapers.

Britain's Best Security Retailer:
