Sarum holds online stock sale

Published: 13 April 2011
Sarum Wholesale is holding an online auction of its stock after entering administration at the beginning of March.
The company has ceased trading and an online tender sale of all the stock from the premises is being held by Asset Management Services Ltd (AMS) at www.amsauctions.co.uk. Anyone can place bids to purchase the stock and the sales closes on April 28.

Jamie Whitmarsh from AMS told DIY Week: "There's no sale of the business. It's just any loose items on site, a few vehicles, a forklift. Once it has been sold we will process it and get the invoices paid. Then we're arranging with them to remove the assets from the site."

Accountancy firm Hazlewoods is facilitating with creditors and dealing with the actual liquidation of the company.
