Leisure and Outdoor Furniture Association (LOFA) secretary Richard Plowman will retire at the end of this year.
Mr Plowman has been running the association for the past 12 years, in which time he was instrumental in the launch of garden furniture and barbecue exhibition Solex.
The fourth annual show will take place next month at the Telford International Exhibition Centre.
