PAS 3621 Doormasterâ"¢, a new addition to Yale's Doormasterâ"¢ range, will maintain PAS 24 accreditation on existing doorsets providing there are no alterations made to the doorset. It can also upgrade the level of security when replacing an existing multipoint lock on doors fitted with a lower specification.
PAS 3621 is a direct multipoint equivalent to the BS 3621 single point standard and aims to provide a benchmark for selecting appropriate products with the correct level of security. As with BS 3621 locks, PAS 3621 locks are tested to the equivalent side load forces and test methods.
Hazel Whittingham, Yale Product Manager, comments: "The Doormasterâ"¢ range has proven to be a huge success thanks to many consumers' attitude of 'repair rather than replace'. The British Kitemark approved PAS 3621 Doormasterâ"¢ is an exciting addition to the range, offering the best level of security for a replacement multipoint lock set.
"To achieve the maximum level of security, the PAS 3621 Doormasterâ"¢ should be used in conjunction with a TS007 3 star cylinder and handle solution."
Designed with the replacement market in mind, The PAS 3621 Doormasterâ"¢ is Secured by Design approved, the police initiative for designing out crime, and recommended in the National House-building Council (NHBC) and Risk, Insight, Strategy & Control Authority (RISC) guidelines.
The PAS 3621 Doormasterâ"¢ is fully backed by Yale's customer service and technical teams, and comes with a 10 year guarantee for customer peace of mind.
