Dunlop Adhesives’ new website launches with a (bug) blast
Leading manufacturer of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products gets new website and online game where players can win up to £50 in Leisure Vouchers.
Dunlop Adhesives now has a brand new website which includes a highly addictive new game, Professor Dunlop’s Bug Blaster, where players can win prizes. The website, which is now live, has been developed to improve usability and aesthetics for Dunlop’s target sectors of builders’ merchants and general tradesmen while keeping in line with the overall brand philosophy of the product range.
As an incentive to drive new and original users to the site at http://www.dunlop-adhesives.co.uk, Dunlop has incorporated the Professor Dunlop’s Bug Blaster game where players can rid any nasties and accumulate points. It includes a high score league table of the best ten bug blasters. The overall “Blaster of the Month” at the top of the leader board gets £50 worth of Leisure Vouchers and the remaining nine will receive £10 in Leisure Vouchers (http://www.leisurevouchers.co.uk/). At the end of each month, the high score table will be reset to start all over again.
Brand Manager at Dunlop Adhesives, Debi Bailey said:“With the high score league tables, we imagine that Professor Dunlop’s Bug Blast will encourage some friendly merchant to merchant competition, especially in getting to the top of the league table. But ultimately, it’s a bit of fun within an otherwise very practical website.”
The refreshed site has a dedicated section especially for stockists (as well as one for trade), which includes everything from marketing support, literature and point of sale downloads to training options and merchant specific initiatives. All product information is also on the site, again within a dedicated section.

The website was specifically designed with this in mind, as Debi Bailey continued:
