Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

No More Nails launches 'Ultra Power' - its most powerful grab adhesive yet

Developed by the Henkel research team, new super strength Ultra Power will stick, fill and seal all materials on all surfaces in all weather conditions.

Its properties are unbeatable - bond strength, ultra instant grab, waterproof, UV and temperature resistant.  As well as being transparent, its impact resistance absorbs knocks and shocks - making it ideal for stairs, floors and decking.

Following the highly successful launch of No More Nails 'Ultra' in 2006, new 'Ultra Power' now heads a complete range of market-leading No More Nails instant grab adhesives.  Its arrival also completes the Ultra range alongside 'Ultra Interior' and 'Ultra Exterior'.

The newcomer is packaged in a clear cartridge to differentiate it from the rest of the No More Nails range, immediately displaying its unique 'clear grab' technology.

"The arrival of this new, high quality adhesive at £9.99 rrp will add substantial extra value to a sector of the DIY market that is less price conscious when it comes to needing to fix something permanently" says Henkel's Craig Turner.

"As well as being our flagship product, No More Nails Ultra Power is an important 'next generation' polymer breakthrough adhesive which we expect to become a best seller in the No More Nails range".

The launch of No More Nails Ultra Power is being heavily supported by television advertising and other promotional activity including direct marketing, online, SMS and point-of-sale. The brand first appeared on TV in 1997.

Since its launch in 1996, UniBond No More Nails has created an instant grab adhesive market category now worth £28m at retail a year - with No More Nails accounting for 55 per cent of all business.
