New Bosch DIY Two-Speed Cordless Drill/Driver PSR 10,8 LI-2 with lithium-ion changeable battery
The
brand new PSR 10.8 LI-2 from Bosch is the handiest two-speed cordless
drill/driver in its class. This new DIY tool has a weight of only 950 grams,
making it considerably lighter than comparable tools. The particularly compact,
ergonomic design guarantees good handling, great freedom of movement and
low-fatigue working.
The
Bosch PSR 10.8 LI-2 combines these advantages with high power. The two-speed gearbox
together with the power motor ensures powerful screwdriving at low speeds and
comfortable drilling at high speed. With 20 torque settings for screwdriving
and one drill setting, this new drill/driver can be perfectly adjusted to suit
the job at hand.
The
lithium-ion battery has very little self-discharge, so the Bosch PSR 10.8 LI-2
is always ready for use even if it has not been used for lengthy periods of
time. Moreover, the battery does not have any memory effect, so it can be
recharged at any time without the user having to accept a deterioration in
battery performance. LED indicators constantly show the charging state of the
battery. The one-hour charger, which is supplied as standard, quickly charges
the batteries of the drill/drivers.
The
comfortable handle with softgrip covering and the easy-to-operate forward/reverse
switch are an indication of the high degree of ergonomics offered by this
cordless drill/driver. Two LEDs show the user whether forward or reverse
operation is set. The additional "Power-Light" LED provides bright light when
working in dark places. Another convenient feature is the autolock keyless
chuck. Drill bits or screwdriver bits are rapidly clamped in this chuck without
the need for additional tools.
The
new Bosch Two-Speed Cordless Drill/Driver PSR 10.8 LI-2 will be available from November
2010 onwards. The recommended retail price is £99.99 including VAT. The tool
comes complete with a lithium-ion changeable battery, one-hour charger, a
double-ended screwdriver bit and a tool case.
