Paint shop targeted in letterbox arson attack
The fire, which has been described by Dorset police as suspicious, is believed to have started between 2.30am and 3.30am on Saturday, February 13. It is believed the arsonist poured accelerant through the building's letterbox.

The blaze caused considerable damage to the independent decorators' merchant on St George's Road in Dorchester. Police were called at around 4am.

Detective constable Neil Gilbrath of Weymouth CID said: "I understand that the offender may have poured an accelerant through the letterbox of the front door and then started the fire. This is clearly a reckless and highly dangerous thing to do and it is essential that the culprit is brought to justice.

Police are appealing for information about the incident.
