Notcutts opens second Christmas store

Published: 19 October 2010
Garden centre chain Notcutts opened the second of its new Deck The Halls Christmas stores in The Centre: MK in Milton Keynes last week.
The first Deck The Halls store opened in Bluewater shopping centre in Kent three weeks ago, and received "a warm response from customers", according to the company.

Customers can expect opulent displays of the key colour themes for Christmas, as well as the best of Notcutts' Christmas range, including trees, decorations and festive food.

Notcutts chief executive Andy King explained why he chose Milton Keynes as one of only two sites for the company's first venture into Christmas stores: "We wanted to bring the best of Notcutts' Christmas to the high street. We looked at a number of different locations across England and chose The Centre: MK because of its high footfall and the opportunity to bring Notcutts' Christmas to a whole new area. We know that our Christmas displays make our garden centres a festive destination for families and we are looking forward to seeing the response from Milton Keynes shoppers."

The store will be open from 9am to 7pm Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 8pm on Thursdays and Fridays, 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and 11am to 5pm on Sundays.

That's really great news for Notcutts and Milton Keynes. I'm not far from Milton Keynes so may have to check it out for myself. More Notcutts Garden Centres can be found here:
