US firms Danaher Corp, which makes the Craftsman tool brand, and Cooper Industrial, whose brands include Campbell, Apex and Crescent, have announced a joint tool venture. 

Olympia Tools (UK) Ltd has been acquired by Dormole Ltd, the parent company of Toolbank. 

Products will be be available as the company's DIY/Retail Tape Range; plans to re-vamp and grow the existing Kwikgrip range.
