Dobbies’ latest Garden World retail emporium is to open next weekend in Barlborough Links, Sheffield.
Trading at the £12m centre will start from Saturday September 15 where a 'retail gallery' will house typical garden fare: indoor and outdoor plants, as well as gardening products and equipment, barbecues and garden furniture, an aquatics department and a 340-seater restaurant with conservatory.
However, the 51,000 sq ft garden centre will boast Dobbies' latest ventures into mainstream retail to tap into the local customer base and that of the surrounding area.
Highlights include a Farm Foodhall, a delicatessen and a café, as well as branded goods from fashion and food retailers including Julian Graves, Whittard of Chelsea, Antler, Cotton Traders, Tog 24 (winter, ski and outdoor clothing) and Moshulu (shoes).
