Around ninety trade partners and journalists joined senior Bissell executives to witness the launch event for the international roll-out of the company's Proheat All-rounder.
Distinguished guests heard from Mark Bissell, the family-run company's fourth generation ceo, and watched demonstrations of the new all-in-one cleaning appliance.
Bissell is targeting numerous world markets including the USA, Europe, Middle East, and Australasia.
The launch of the Proheat All-rounder is backed by the company's research findings which show consumers are looking for an appliance to fit in with their lifestyles juggling a job, a family and household tasks.
International markets director, Charles Gordon said: "Following two years of development work, our team has created the multi-tasker – the first truly all-round home cleaner. No one else is offering such a product."
