Members of Home Hardware received a boost this week when it was revealed that this summer's brochure has exceeded last year's sales.

The 20-page brochure was delivered to customers the week beginning May 21, coinciding with 10 days of sunshine throughout Scotland and the north. Members' profit on cost for the brochure increased from 56.4% last year to 59.5% this year.

Members' margin also went up, from 36% last year to 37.3% this year. The success of the brochure also contributed to a 10.71% increase in turnover for May.

Home Hardware said it hoped the Autumn brochure, due to go out on September 3, will be even more successful for its members.
