Hillview announces another acquisition
The Hillview Group's garden centre arm has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of Hilltop Garden Centre, Ramsden, Oxfordshire from Paul and Adrian Prové.

Hillview Garden Centres ceo Boyd J Douglas-Davies said of the deal: "I'm delighted that we've completed this purchase. Hilltop Garden Centre has been carefully developed by the Prové family and I look forward to working with the team there."

The former Webbs of Wychbold chief executive added: "There is substantial
opportunity to further develop this site as part of the Hillview Garden Centre group".

Hilltop Garden Centre covers 14 acres and includes a garden centre, café, large retail area and nature trail. It is located in the heart of Oxfordshire, between Chipping Norton and Witney. The site is just 45 miles from the first acquisition in Hillview's portfolio, Studley Garden Centre.

All staff are being retained at the Hilltop site and the new parent hopes to further expand the team during the summer.

Hillview Group ceo Nadav Livni commented: "We are excited by the recent acquisition of Hilltop Garden Centre, which is part of our long-term investment strategy to establish a portfolio of "local champion" garden centres. Our centres offer customers a retail destination experience with an appealing product mix and friendly knowledgeable staff. This is a well-located site in an affluent area with massive development potential. Our experienced operating team under Boyd's leadership can bring its retail expertise to create a very attractive destination centre."
