Bayer extends TV ad campaign
After Bayer's TV ads received a good reception from retailers and gardeners, the firm has decided to extend the high profile campaign and run the commercials throughout the May and Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday weekends.

Bayer Garden product manager Alison Mulvaney said: "The response to the advertisement was brilliant; people seemed to like it."

The campaign will run from Thursday, May 3 to Monday, May 7 and again from Thursday, May 31 to Tuesday, June 5 and will be broadcast on ITV 3, Channel 5, 5*, Yesterday, Film 4, More 4 and a variety of other Sky and digital media channels.

Birchgrove Garden Centre chairman George Slinger said of the campaign: "Support like this from the manufacturers of garden care products is fantastic. We have always advertised our garden centre through the local media but you really notice the boost when the campaign cuts across the national media in the way this one does. Bayer Garden's advertisement gets across the benefits of their weedkillers and I am really pleased they have taken this step to continue the campaign through the forthcoming bank holidays."
