B&Q targets female market with new 'I did that' ad
The DIY retailer's latest spring/summer marketing campaign features a series of home improvement scenarios aimed at instilling a sense of personal achievement.



The ads target female customers, in a similar move to rival Homebase which recently identified 60% of its customer base were woman and designed its latest ad campaign accordingly.

B&Q says it is its female shoppers who are "more often than not the decision-maker[s] in home improvement purchases."
