Wellies get starring role in Hollywood film
A pair Town & Country's wellintgon boots will make a special appearance in a new film starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson.

Released in the UK today, the film is called 'We Bought a Zoo' and is based on a true story about a father who moves his young family to the countryside to restore and re-open a dilapidated zoo.

Town & Country managing director Barry Page said: "We were thrilled when we got the call from the costume department looking for wellingtons to be worn by the actors during the making of the film and, of course, we didn't hesitate to offer our full support - sending off various colours and sizes from our Premium collection. We have been told our boots have 'great placement' in the film and we are looking forward to seeing their debut on the big screen."

Town & Country is also reporting record sales for its premium wellingtons - the company said it sold more footwear during the period October to December 2011 than it did for the whole of last year.
