Home Hardware charity cheque
Home Hardware Southwest has handed over a cheque for £2,500 to charity - the proceeds of its spring tradeshow draw and a bike ride undertaken by business development officer Paul Moston.

Mr Moston raised £2,000 of the total with a 119-mile, two-day bike ride, which took in six Home Hardware store visits in Devon and Cornwall.

The remaining £500 was raised through a prize draw for an iPod at the HHSW spring tradeshow at Exeter's West Point arena earlier this year. Judith Franklin of Frosts Home Hardware won the main prize.

The funds will be split between two Children's Hospice South West projects - the ongoing Precious Lives appeal to create a hospice in Cornwall and the existing Little Bridge House in North Devon where the cheque presentation took place.
