B&Q lights up stores with new range
B&Q has revealed big changes to its lighting department this week, launching 350 new designs after a £10m investment by the retailer.
All new lines will be compatible with energy saving or eco halogen bulbs, making the new range the largest collection of low energy lighting options from any UK retailer.
B&Q is also revamping its lighting aisles across all 321 stores between now and the end of November. They will be more modern, with more products on display, while best selling items will be more widely available in a greater number of stores, said the company.
Affordability is a key feature of the new collection, with all new products under £99, and the majority under £50.
Director of decorative Sebastian Krysiak said: "We want customers to be inspired when they go to our lighting department, and this new range is our best one yet."

B&Q have a unique way installing and maintaining their lighting displays in their lighting support team . Unfortunately this valuable asset is under threat as their owners RING are in administration . Can B&Q allow the years of experience that are within this team to be lost or will they step in and keep the lighting support team .
