GIMA opens charity golf day up to the industry
Trade association announces there is still space for four more teams to play at charity event on June 9.

GIMA opens charity golf day up to the industry

GIMA president Spencer Goodall confirmed that the last four teams were available and extended the invitation to any business within the home and garden sector.

He said: "We welcome retailers and suppliers to come and join us by entering a team. Sponsorship opportunities always have been open to all companies and there are still a few of those left too. After all, this whole event is about raising money for charity and we want to help Greenfingers as much as we can."

A four ball team can play gold, enjoy lunch, a session at the practice range, an evening meal with entertainment and overnight stay at the De VEre Hotel adjacent to the course near Daventry for just under £175 a head.

Professional snooker player and keen golfer Willie Thorn has also been confirmed as the after dinner speaker.

Full details can be found at the GIMA website www.gima.org.uk/golfbrochure2010.pdf or by contacting the GIMA office on 0121 445 5213
