GIMA Awards a success
Garden industry gathers to hail 'the brightest and the best in the trade' at the annual awards dinner on June 16.

Over 360 stars of the garden industry attended the annual GIMA Awards, held in the splendid surroundings of its new venue, the Four Pillars Hotel, South Cerney in Gloucestershire.
With TV's Philippa Forrester hosting the evening, guests saw leading suppliers honoured in 18 closely fought categories covering marketing and products.
A&E Leisure won both the Outdoor Leisure category and the coveted Sword of Excellence as overall product winner with their Glatz Alu Twist Parasol.
Westland won The Excellence Award for its TV marketing campaign for its new Weedkiller product Resolva 24h.
GIMA vice president, Spencer Goodall of Johnsons Lawn Seed said: "A fabulous night that is so enjoyable and a great opportunity for suppliers and retailers to get together"
GIMA president Jane Lawler added: "This industry is good at working together and at times like this it is even more important that we do so. This evening is always a good time and an invaluable meeting point to set discussion going towards the future."
