B&Q gears up for May Bank Holidays
DIY chain today announces the launch its first privilege card valid for the month of May.

B&Q gears up for May Bank Holidays

Customers that spend over £50 this Bank Holiday weekend will receive a B&Q privilege card qualifying them for an additional 10% off everything, throughout the month of May.

The move aims to save customers over £15 million in May with additional price cuts of up to 50% on popular home improvement products including a Makita 18v drill driver for £99.98, 2.5 litre Dulux standard emulsion for £10 and a B&Q Laguna gas BBQ for £59.

Kingfisher UK and B&Q ceo Euan Sutherland, said: "This is B&Q's biggest ever May price investment - people are feeling short of money and we hope we can go some way to easing that burden by making home and garden improvement as affordable as possible.

"We're seeing more and more people across the UK improving instead of moving plus Britons are choosing to enjoy time at home and in their gardens instead of forking out on holidays abroad - homeowners are increasingly reluctant to splash out so DIY is cool again."
