How to deck ahead
Richard Burbidge has launched Deckplanner, an online planning service that provides stockists, building professionals, landscapers and homeowners with an interactive step-by-step guide to outdoor balustrade and decking design. 
Users can choose from the company's complete range of outdoor balustrade, deckboards and joists to create plans, part lists and project costs in a few simple steps.
A 'virtual deck layout' function is also available to help make the process easier, as well as downloadable fitting instructions and maintenance advice, once product selection is complete.
