People losing basic DIY knowledge
By mrfnk
i'm 35 years old. i can't agree with you more. we could thank woman's liberation, for this one. please don't get me wrong. what i'm saying is that our grandfathers taught our fathers these skills, not our mothers. diy is great, it offers so much the knowledge that that so many from my generation missed out on. there are so many other factors as well, video games, project housing, schools don't offer shop class anymore. i can talk about this all day, but its sunday mourning and i need to do the breaks on mom's minivan.

DIY?
