The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company has announced the purchase of Humax for an undisclosed sum.

The company plans to integrate the Humax business and brand into its existing operations and will review the range over the next few months.

Scotts consumer business general manager Martin Breddy said the acquisition: "provides us with further high quality raw materials. It also means we now have a network of four production sites in mainland Great Britain, which will further improve our customer service and flexibility."
