Carbon monoxide detector, Article No: 822611

Jo-El Electric has issued a safety recall notice for a carbon monoxide detector (article no: 822611, model COA - 001).

It says: "We have become aware of an issue with regard to the possible manufacture of a Jo-El Carbon Monoxide Dectector.

"The device may not alarm in the presence of concentrations of carbon monoixde.

"This possible problem affects the above product reference only. No other items in Jo-El branded goods range are affected."

Jo-El asks for the return of units, and a full refund, to wherever they were purchased.
