New sponsorship and prizes for competition winners
Compere Bob Mills to rework popular game show for Britain’s Best Retailer Awards 2007.

New sponsorship and prizes for competition winners

Abus is to sponsor Britain's Best Retailer Awards' give-away competition - Win, Lock or Draw.

Based on the show - Win, Lose or Draw - Bob Mills presented between 1990 and 1995, the Awards' compere will pick the teams and replicate the format of this famous television quiz game - but with an Abus theme.

"As a big thank you to its retailers, Abus is sponsoring the Win, Lock or Draw competition to amuse and entertain the audience after their dinner," Nick Vanderhoest of Abus UK said.

He continued: "Britain's Best Retailer Awards in Manchester is a fantastic opportunity for Abus to talk to its retailers. For many years, Abus has been the best-selling padlock range in the UK and the hardware stores are the backbone of its distribution."

As well as getting their 15 minutes of fame on stage, the winners will be handed a great prize of Champagne for their table.

All awards attendees will also receive a free gift from Abus to take home and experience the unique quality and performance of the world's favourite padlocks.

Win, Lock or Draw - how it works:

Two tables will be randomly picked from the crowd. Those invited will have to nominate three guests to go on stage to participate. One member of the team will draw, the remaining two members will guess.

Each team will be presented with 10 cards featuring security-related items. It will be given 90 seconds in which to draw said items and have the team successfully identify them.

The winner is the team that has managed to identify the most items.

In case of a tie-break Bob Mills will draw a final card and the winner is the team that guesses correctly.
