Plasti-kote reports growth in market shareHeavy brand investment by Plasti-kote has driven growth in the spray paint market as GfK figures for September show that the market has grown by 7.1%.
Plasti-kote's market share in both volume and value is now over 72%.
Paul Silk, head of sales and marketing for Plasti-kote said: "Our strong product sales in the colour category and metal finishes across UK and Europe indicate a growing consumer confidence in the benefits of spray paint."
He added that Plasti-kote is continuing to invest in the spray paint market and is intends to excite the retailer and consumer with its plans for 2008.
The new website and a pr campaign also contributed to Plasti-kote's success. The former seeing a 40% uplift of visitors since its launch at the beginning of the year, while a pr campaign generating presented 126m viewing opportunities.
