A natural extension of the Webbs brand, says chief executive

Webbs, the UK Garden Centre of the Year, has launched an online shop to meet the demands of customers across the country.

Chief executive Boyd Douglas-Davies said of the in Worcestershire centre's move, "The website is a natural extension of the Webbs brand and offer. We're starting in a modest way but customers seem to like the site - they're certainly ordering!"

Webbs Direct has online departments including gardening, outdoor living, wildlife and bird care and gifts and indulgence.

Webbs was named UK Garden Centre of the Year by judges from The Garden Centre Association (GCA).

The family business includes the garden centre and beautiful landscaped riverside gardens, which are open free to the public.
