B&Q launches ‘no hassle’ returns policyCustomer feedback prompts refresh
B&Q is to offer customers a 90-day returns policy.
With proof of purchase, shoppers can now gain a full refund on a product for up to 90 days, otherwise they can still exchange goods or receive a credit note valid for up to one year.
B&Q says it is also promising customers a 'no-quibble service' over the appearance of packaging on returned goods. The new policy is being communicated via staff training, in-store notices and via diy.com.
Jo Kenrick, marketing director and head of customer insights at B&Q, said: "Feedback from our customers shows that they appreciate simple policies that enhance their overall shopping experience."
