Michael McCabe has been appointed finance director for Grafton Merchanting GB Ltd.
He has been promoted from the same position at Grafton-owned Buildbase, one he has held since 2001, and will report directly to managing director Kevin Middleton.

Grafton Group chief operating officer Leo Martin said, "Michael's role as finance director is a key one and will be pivotal to maximise operational efficiency as we go forward. His contribution to the success of Buildbase cannot be underestimated and he will add much to this important position."
