Mueller Primaflow has announced its new board of directors – with four of the members sharing the same christian name.
The company was formed last year when the parent company, Mueller Europe - the UK's leading supplier of copper tube - merged together Vemco, Brassware Sales and Instox to form, what is now, Britain's largest supplier of plumbers and brassware.
The directors are Andrew Goodland (marketing), Andrew Thomas (commercial), Mark Millerchip (managing), Andrew Surtees (sales) and Andrew Price (finance).
"It could all become very confusing," said board president Pat Donovan. "In reality, however, it is an extremely strong new team. Everyone is driven by service: ensuring orders arrive 'complete and on time'.
"The current internal analysis shows that we achieve this over 99% of times. And for a £60 million business, that represents a great quality achievement in a short time."
The new team has good experience in the sector, all of them having worked extensively in the market.
Mr Donovan also paid tribute to the owners of the former separate parts that now make up Mueller Primaflow: Gordon Paul, Kevin Blackman, April Pearson-Myatt, Geoff Robinson and Chris Dixon.
"Everyone has cooperated really well and all remain totally committed to the concept of Mueller Primaflow. Chris remains with us, the old and new management teams keep in contact and help each other, ensuring excellent customer service," he said.
Earlier this year the company opened a new £4 million, purpose-built headquarters and distribution centre at Stargate in Birmingham.
From September 1, 2007, Mueller Primaflow started distributing a range of Greenwood Airvac ventilation fans.
