To keep the lid from slamming shut, the design team incorporated lid shox™ technology to slow down the motion for a smooth, quiet close. A slide switch keeps the lid open for longer chores, like sorting or emptying recyclables, and the built-in wheels and integrated handle make it easy to move.

The two inner buckets are made of durable, easy-to-clean polypropylene plastic. To eliminate messy bag overhang, the buckets come with the simplehuman bag tuck™, a perforated opening in the back of each of the buckets that allows you to easily gather and tuck away excess bin liner so that even oversized bags fit neatly.
