We are very pleased to introduce our company to you. Verhnedneprovsk Foundry Mechanical Factory 1May (OJSC) was established in 1898 as an iron foundry. Now we are the company which is engaged in foundry with the use of iron, brass and aluminum. We employ injection casting as well as sand casting method in the nonferrous foundry casting work. The monthly output of the brass and aluminum products is about 200 tons. In iron foundry we employ lost foam casting, i.e. polystyrene foam patterns are dressed, molded and burnt off while casting. It is a microcast process. The founding is of high quality with the weight of about 400 kilograms. We involve sand casting method as well. The annual output of the iron products is 4,000 tons. In our factory there is a molding hall where the used molds are serviced and the new ones are made. We also have a machining division where milling, boring and turning operations are carried out.
