Jegs officially opens new building
The 40,000sq ft build replaces the company's original home, which was destroyed by fire in December 2007. The company has been trading from the new site since March.

And its new home isn't the only good news at Jegs at the moment as the company is bucking the general trend. Speaking to DIY Week last month, md Martin Gibbons said: "Sales have been breaking records since December. We had our best ever December, best ever January, and best ever February." March didn't quite make it, as they had to close for a week to locate to the new site.

The focus is now on "aggressive expansion" for 2009, including picking up all the trade left by those exiting the market.
