The Boards of EDRA, fediyma and ghin have announced that James (Jim) W. Inglis has been selected to receive the Global DIY Lifetime Award for his unparalleled contribution to the global home improvement industry.
The award will be presented at the 3rd Global DIY Summit, which will be held in London on June 11, 2015.

On hearing about receiving this award, Mr Inglis said: "This is a wonderful honour to receive this most prestigious award at the end of my long career".

Mr Inglis has spent over 50 years in the home improvement industry and, for the past 15 years, he has been an international consultant to four of the world's leading players, namely Sodimac (Chile), Hornbach (Germany), Komeri (Japan) and Bunnings (Australia). Prior to this Mr Inglis spent 13 years with Home Depot as executive vice present merchandising and as a member of the corporate board of directors at the very height of its expansion.
