Ikea recalls dangerous coffee maker after customers injured
According to the recall notice, pressure from the metal holder on the glass pot can cause it to break unexpectedly when the user adds hot water or operates the press, posing a burn and laceration risk.

Ikea has received reports of 20 incidents, where the glass pot broke, including 12 users who suffered burns and one who was lacerated by the glass.

The Förstå coffee maker was sold in two sizes, 0.4l and 1l, at Ikea stores worldwide between January 2010 and December 2010.

The retailer has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
