HTA garden centres to offer RHS membership

Under an exclusive agreement with the RHS, HTA member garden centres and retail nurseries will be able to offers RHS membership to their customers.
The membership offers customers free access to the four RHS gardens with a family guest, plus access to more than 140 recommended gardens, discounted tickets to RHS shows shows or privileged access on members days, as well as the monthly magazine, The Garden.

The membership packs come complete with full merchandising kits and cost £219 plus VAT for an order of ten - retailing at £49 each.

RHS director of marketing, membership and external relations Dan Wolfe explained: "With its network of garden centre members, the HTA is the perfect partner to help us broaden our reach by distributing a retail membership pack, which has year-round validity. The garden centre environment presents a great opportunity to talk to our core audience for gardening enthusiasts when gardening is top of mind."

HTA director of marketing Andrew Maxted said: "We are delighted to be working with the RHS on this promotion, which will benefit garden retailers and encourage more gardeners to support the RHS as a charity. The RHS membership pack will appeal both to keen gardeners and those looking for a thoughtful gift for friends or family."
