Homewise Hardware of Portchester, Hampshire, celebrated its new identity with a two-day special event on February 17-18.
Jayanti and Josana Patel have been serving the community in West Street, Portchester for 25 years as Homewise Hardware - but have now become corporate members of Home Hardware SouthWest, and have re-opened as Portchester Home Hardware.

"We are delighted with the Home Hardware branding," said Mr Patel. "The recognised name gives more customer confidence in our pricing and range, essential in today's competitive retailing."

The hardware shop has evolved over the years to include cookware, HG cleaning products and top kitchen electrical brands, whilst adding new ranges to meet customer demand, particularly when a local competitor closed.

To introduce the new look, Portchester Home Hardware distributed the Home Hardware spring DIY brochure, and received coverage in the local press.
