Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

Homesense opens in West Midlands

Published: 11 March 2010
Home furnishings chain set to open its largest UK branch in the Black Country at the end of May.
The new store, due to open at Merry Hill retail park in Dudley, will create 45 jobs in the area.

At 27,000sq ft, the new store is the retailer's largest branch yet and will hold around 45,000 different items for every room in the house.

Homesense spokesperson Victoria Wright said: "West Midlands home lovers are going to love Homesense. They will find something new and different every single day so their homes won't end up looking like everyone else's. All products are sold at up to 60% off so instead of having sales, we're constantly offering great value for high quality and branded homeware."

Launched in April 2008, Homesense now has 14 stores across the UK, including stores in Birmingham Fort and Worcester.
